WSU Dining Services and the Compton Union Building are pleased to host Wednesdays on the Mall, a summer BBQ series featuring fresh flavors. Enjoy a rotating menu of international cuisine and BBQ classics, paired with lively summer tunes—right on Glenn Terrell Mall, outside the CUB.

Join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on June 18, 25, and July 9, 16, 23, and 30. Payment will be accepted by card at the point of sale or via the GET app.

  • June 18 - Global Stews

    Enjoy a selection of hearty international stews featuring Chicken Tikka, Beef Rendang, Buttered Chickpeas, Jasmine Rice, Naan, and Raita.

  • June 25 – Backyard BBQ

    Enjoy a classic cookout with Beef Burgers, Veggie Burgers, fresh toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles), and crispy Potato Chips. Served with a toasted bun (Gluten Free option available) and your choice of Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard, or Relish.

  • July 9 – On the Islands

    Experience island-style flavors with Huli Huli Chicken, slow-cooked Kalua Pork, and Huli Huli Tofu. Served with Mac Salad and White Rice for a satisfying, tropical-inspired meal.

  • July 16 – Korean BBQ

    Enjoy bold, savory flavors with Buldak, Bulgogi Pork, and Bulgogi Tofu, served alongside White Rice, refreshing Cucumber Salad, and a flavorful Kimchi topping.

  • July 23 – Country BBQ

    Enjoy comforting barbecue classics with Pulled Pork on a Bun, juicy Chicken Thigh, and a BBQ Beyond Brat. Served with Baked Beans and crisp Coleslaw.

  • July 30 – Fajita Night

    Build your own fajita with a warm tortilla, crisp cabbage, and your choice of Chicken, Diablo Shrimp, or Soyrizo. Add fresh veggies, then top it off with Cotija Cheese, Pico, and a Lime Wedge. Served with Cilantro Lime Rice and Tortilla Chips with Fire-Roasted Salsa.
