Northside Café

Welcome to Northside Café! We're located on the north side of campus, between Northside Residence Hall and Regents Residence Hall. Our dining center has a modern look, making the space feel open and welcoming to all students.

Our breakfast selection includes custom-made omelets with a variety of toppings.

Looking for something quick and simple? We have a selection of single-serve cold cereal, as well as packaged cups of fresh fruit. Or, try one of our new yogurt parfaits, made with fresh fruit, locally sourced granola, organic whole milk yogurt. Non-dairy milks are always available.

Gluten-Free Options

Check out our gluten-free zone for a variety of gluten-free muffins, cookies, bagels, and breads. Our gluten-free zone also houses a separate toaster with a lock combination reserved for students with severe allergies to gluten/wheat. Big Cat Grille and Deli

Hours of Operation

Order from our daily grill options of burgers, veggie burgers, sandwiches, chicken strips, fries, and more! Customize your burger by adding bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onions, or one of our many sauces. Gluten-free burgers and sandwiches can be made on request.

Salads

Our salads are much more than just vegetables! Choose one of our freshly prepared grab and go salads as an appetizing side dish or as a full meal. Our selection includes popular favorites like chicken Caesar, coleslaw, and potato and pasta salads, as well as exciting new items like our lentil apple salad and refreshing lemon mint tabbouleh.

Soups

Craving a warm meal? Try one of our homemade soups! Options rotate daily, with at least one vegetarian soup offered each day.

Deli

Made fresh daily, our grab and go sandwiches and wraps offer a variety of both hearty and lighter options. Keep it simple with our classic deli meat, cheese, and veggie combinations, or try something a little different with our California veggie sandwich, teriyaki chicken wrap, or quinoa taco wrap!

Breakfast

Presto Pizza, Pasta, Salads, and Subs

Create a custom pizza using a variety of fresh, delicious toppings at Presto. Gluten-free crust and dairy-free cheese are available to create a pizza to meet almost any dietary need! Presto also serves a selection of pasta, sandwiches, and salads.

Chef's Creations

Grab a comforting, warm dinner or weekend brunch from Chef’s Creations, from familiar favorites to dishes that will excite your palate with new flavors! With a menu that changes daily, we offer a variety of healthy and indulgent options, including grilled chicken breast and fish, roast beef, grilled tofu kabobs, vegetable wellingtons, and a mac and cheese bar.

Natural

Saturday – Sunday: 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The Natural station is a gluten-friendly, allergen-friendly platform that excludes the top-eight common allergens. Create your own rice bowl with your choice of sauce, vegetables, and protein. Northside’s Natural station is open for lunch and dinner every weekday, and dinner on the weekends, with options rotating weekly.

Baked and packaged right here on campus, our selection of pastries, breads, cookies, and other baked goods are here when you just need a sweet treat. From banana bread to our famous lentil chocolate cake, as well as several vegan baked goods, we’ve got options to satisfy any dessert craving. Prepackaged gluten-free pastries are also available upon request.

Order ahead and pick up a hot meal from the Northside Den! Start your day off with a hearty omelet, hot oatmeal, or avocado toast, and come back later for our lunch and dinner options of homestyle meals, comfort food favorites, and Tex-Mex dishes. Try our new weekly rotating concepts of BBQ, curry, and sliders that can be customized to suit your tastes or dietary needs.
